Gather your community for a day of exploration and fun.
We have 2 large classrooms for rent: The “Octopus Classroom” and the “Movement Room”. We encourage everyone in our community to use them. You may be teaching your first art class or your hundredth, holding a conference or monthly meetings, throwing a crafting birthday party or an anniversary — the possibilities are limited only by your imagination.

For any craft classes with heat tools or any dance/yoga/martial arts classes – liability insurance is required

THE OCTOPUS CLASSROOM
ROOM DETAILS
Ideal for anything messy
• Birthday parties with a crafting theme
• Team building art workshops
• So many possibilities!
• 20 person capacity
• 30 ft x 18 ft
• Folding chairs and tables
• Basic art tools: scissors, hot glue guns, crayons, paint brushes, etc
RATES
(Starting Jan 1, 2024)
7 DAYS A WEEK
Rent the room for $15/hr
Inquire about an art instructor for an additional fee
NOTES
• There must be an adult (18 years +) present at all times.
• Rooms are booked based on what works best for the store, you, and the space — they are not first come/first serve.
Cancellations/Refunds
• 72 hour or more notice = Full refund
• Less than 72 hour notice = No refund
• Consider the min. number of students you want for the class and cancel if it is not met.
THE MOVEMENT ROOM
ROOM DETAILS
Ideal for movement activities and meetings
• Large group meetings
• Yoga, dance, lamaze, etc
• Activities that aren’t “too messy”
• 30 person capacity
• 30 ft x 22 ft
• “Floating” wood floors, high ceiling, and large mirrors (former Pilates/Yoga studio)
• Folding chairs and tables

Rent the room for $25/hr
Inquire about an art instructor for an additional fee
NOTES
• There must be an adult (18 years +) present at all times.
• Rooms are booked based on what works best for the store, you, and the space — they are not first come/first serve.

• 72 hour or more notice = Full refund
• Less than 72 hour notice = 50% toward a future room rental within 6 months
• Consider the min. number of students you want for the class and cancel if it is not met.

Payment Information
• Invoice is due 48 hours before day of class
• Pay via the Square link on invoice, in person, or by check
• Once you receive an invoice, this will be the confirmation that your class has been booked.
Cancellations/Refunds
• Consider your personal student minimum and cancel if needed.
• 72 hour or more notice = Full refund
• Less than 72 hour notice = No refund
Insurance/Consent Forms
• “Movement” classes must have Liability Insurance.
• Consent Forms are highly recommended for all of your event attendees. Here is an example form: Example Consent Form
Social Media and Advertising Tips
• Hang flyers around town and on our store Community Board in the store hallway
• Create posts on your social media and tag Who Gives a SCRAP
• Advertise for free on event websites such as “Peak Radar” www.peakradar.com
