Part of what we do here at Who Gives a SCRAP is experiment. Let’s gather your old shirts, random fabrics, and other random stuff to make some reusable shopping bags. Simply show up anytime in the Barefoot Studio from 2-5.
Feel free to bring some of these items or just show up:
• Your boring ol’ reusable bags to decorate with fabric paint, accessories, etc.
• Old shirts to convert into bags via a “no-sew” technique
• We’ll be using fabric to doing some hand sewing
This is also a great time to teach kids (our yourself) to hand sew.
All ages welcome, $3 suggested donation to fund more classes
Email us with questions: outreach@whogivesascrapcolorado.com
(EDIT: Due to the scarcity of plastic bags, we won’t be using plastic shopping bags to braid into “blarn” as previously mentioned in December)
