Making ephemera for junk journals – tucks, pockets, tags, journaling card 

Wednesday, August 14th, 1pm-3pm

Class Description: Class Description: Learn to embellish and fill your junk journal with different kinds of ephemera. We will start with a simple pocket or tuck and a simple tag or journaling card. Then we will embellish them with assorted items. As time permits we will make more and different pockets or tucks. There will be a variety to choose from and the class will choose the items to make.

Ephemera: Collectable memorabilia that was not intended to last a long time or were specially produced for one occasion.

Examples: tickets, postcards, newspapers, sheet music, money, labels, calendars, maps, etc. In the junk journal world—ephemera also means the things you create to fill your junk journal using those items and more.

All Included: Ephemera, fabric, buttons, charms, assorted papers, scissors, glue, ribbon, thread, and so much more! Bring a journal you have been working with or start on items to fill it when you get one.

Things to bring: A journal if you have one.

Ages: 10 years and up (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)
