Machine Sewing: Make a Zippered Pouch

Saturday, May 25th 4-7pm

Come make a pouch with a lining, zipper and integrated handle! With guidance from your experienced instructor, D’Anne, you will stitch together a unique creation that reflects your personality and style. By the end of this beginner-friendly class, you’ll walk away with your very own pouch. It’s a hands-on experience that’s both educational and enjoyable, setting the stage for future sewing adventures!

We’ll do a quick refresh on the machines, but you’ll want to have fundamental sewing skills under your belt. If you want to bring your own machine instead of using ours, send us an email with your machine name/model: outreach@igiveascrap.com

All Supplies are included: Fabric choices, interfacing, zipper, tools, sewing machines, etc. Everything is included for this project, just show up.

Ages: 14+ (no parent needed when consent form is signed)

Location: Meet us in the “Who Gives a Scrap” Classroom. Turn left when you enter the front door and head to the back of the Sales Floor.

Meet your teacher: D’Anne
