Class Name: Make a Junk Journal

Saturday, August 3rd, 1pm-3:30pm

Class Description: Welcome to Junk Journaling, a creative journey where you’ll learn to transform everyday materials into unique and expressive journals. This class is designed for all skill levels, as it offers a comprehensive look to the art of junk journaling. We will make a cloth covered one signature junk journal with a sewn in signature (don’t worry—all will be explained in the class)

Guided by your favorite Scrapbooking YouTuber, Dorothy, you’ll delve into a range of techniques and creative processes, including collage, mixed media, hand-binding, and embellishment. We’ll create a multi-page custom journal, closure, and (if time allows) get into decorating and making ephemera.

All Included: Assorted paper, fabric, buttons, charms, scissors, glue, file folders, ribbon, thread, binding kits, and more.

Please bring: Pointy tool – like an ice pick or an awl (If you have one, not required)

Ages: 10+ (Under 18 accompanied by an adult)
