KNITTING BASICS

Thursday, December 7, 2:00- 4:00pm 

(You are welcome to stay after class for “WIPS and Sips” 4-6pm if you need more time)

Class description – This class will go over the basics of knitting as we make a cute little cotton coaster. We’ll cast on, knit, purl and bind off. Recommended for ages 10 and over.

Included – Cotton yarn and knitting needles required to complete the project.

Instructor – Melissa Butch is one of our resident studio artists. She is a fiber artist with 8 years of knitting and 15 years of crocheting under her belt. She has an 11 year old, 2 cats, 3 salamanders and a husband at home. She is new to teaching but super excited about getting the opportunity to spread her love of knitting to others. She’s a pretty cool human and you can find her in her studio most days — to the right of the mirror on the WGAS sales floor! 

Location – Join us in the WGAS Classroom. It is located toward the back of the sales floor.
