By purchasing your class/event ticket, you hereby agree to all “Who Gives a Scrap” terms and conditions below.

Refunds

All classes are non-refundable. If you can’t make it, simply give it to a friend so they can come! Cancellations due to inclement weather, illness, and other unforeseen circumstances will be determined on a case-by-case basis.


* Students under the age of 18

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

By purchasing the class/event ticket, the Parent and/or Guardian is given approval for their child(ren)’s participation in any and all activities during the class(es). In exchange for the acceptance of said child(ren)’s registration, they assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold the teacher(s) and Who Gives a SCRAP corp, PBC harmless and all its respective store owners/staff/volunteers, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child(ren) arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from the class.

Parent and/or Guardian of minors under the age of 12 MUST remain on site through the entirety of the class. 

In case of injury to said child(ren), the buyer hereby waives all claims against the teacher, affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event/class.

Medical Release and Authorization

As Parent and/or Guardian of the named student, they hereby authorize the diagnosis and treatment by a qualified and licensed medical professional, of the minor child, in the event of a medical emergency, which in the opinion of the attending medical professional, requires immediate attention to prevent further endangerment of the minor’s life, physical disfigurement, physical impairment, or other undue pain, suffering or discomfort, if delayed.

Permission is also granted to the teacher and the affiliates to provide the needed emergency treatment prior to the child’s admission to the medical facility.

This release is authorized and executed of your own free will, with the sole purpose of authorizing medical treatment under emergency circumstances, for the protection of life and limb of the named minor child(ren), in their absence.


* Students 18 and older

Photo Release 

We will occasionally take photos and videos for advertising purposes. If you would rather not be included, please inform the teacher/photographer. We try our best to keep faces of children out of all photos, unless verbal consent is given. Otherwise, you are giving permission to use photographs taken during the class for any legal use, including but not limited to: publicity, copyright purposes, illustration, advertising, and web content.
